Amphenol BSI’s VXS high performance backplanes are available in 6U form factors. Amphenol BSI VXS backplanes are compliant to VITA 41 VXS specifications.

VXS (VME Switched Serial) represents an extension of the VME family. VITA 41 defines extensions which use specific serial fabrics (such as PCI Express, RapidIO, Starfabric and InfiniBand) or additional functionality.
